The narrator tells us that he's just asked his brother's "girl friend" to hook up with a "con man" . He's not sure what that means, but he figures it's a good thing he asked her to do it. The narrator is bummed that he can't hang out with the girl he thought he'd be hanging out with now that she's back with her boyfriend. He doesn't know how she'll get back with the "ex" she just gave him. He runs off to find the girl and find out what's going on.
