The group finds that they are close to the lair of the snake, but they are not sure if there are other people there. Barbecue tells them to go around and smell the place for signs of life. He says that if there were anyone else there, they would have taken a look and they will find out. He tells the group that the light in the building is still there, but he feels hopeful when he looks at it. He feels hopeful because he knows the direction of the tent where the snake was killed. He decides to follow the shadow and find the doll first.
