The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night. He's been dreaming about a girl named Yeonhwa. He wakes up to find that she's late for her birthday party. He asks her why she hasn't had a boyfriend, and she says that it's because she'd rather be popular than have one. The narrator is surprised that she has a birthday party, since she'll probably never have a boyfriend. He tells her to hang out with him and his friend, the vice president. The vice president tells the narrator that he's going to have a drink with the girl, and the narrator tells him to go home. He says he'll take the girl home and then come back later to celebrate her birthday. He finds out that the girl's friend is a student named Lee Taehyung. The two of them have a crush on one another, and they're both psyched to see each other's faces for the first time in a long time. They're so psyched that they don't even realize that their crush isn't coming to celebrate the birthday party with them. They start to argue about whether or not they should wait for their crush to show up, but the narrator reminds them that they can't wait to find their first love.
