It's now 2007 and we're introduced to Sparkle. He's in the middle of a dream in which he's caught a glimpse of the future, but he can't figure out how to get back to the present. He asks Sparkle to wake him up so he can go to the pier to catch the boat to the future. Sparkle's not sure what to do. He doesn't want to go back to where he came from. He wants to stay in the present, and he wants to see what's going on with his sister. He wonders if Sparkle is acting weird, and Sparkle says that he is. Sparkle wants to know what he should say to help his sister, but Sparkle says he'll just have to prep some abalone for her.
