The next morning, Yonhap learns that haesan has been swept away in a storm while trying to save one of his victims. Yonhap asks where he is, and Yonhap is told that he is in the sky hospital. When Yonhap questions him further, he tells Yonhap that he has been in hiding for a year because of Yonhap's kindness. He asks Yonhap to wipe the floor with his handkerchief, and when Yonhap refuses to do so, he says that his thesis is for that day.
