This chapter opens with a conversation between Kyun-Hyun and his lover, Hyo-Jung. The two men discuss the fact that they have been together for a long time and that they are both "hyung," or older, and close to one another. Kyun says that he has a "same-aged lover" whom he has been with since they were kids. He tells Hyo that he is afraid that the "results won't be out according to my expectations" and that he will be an "alpha," a term used in Korea to refer to an older man who is close to a younger man. He suggests that they use a "residual ingredients for awakening," a remedy that contains ingredients that can awaken a person's "alpha-like" state. He says he will try it and let the reader know what he thinks.
