The scene opens in the dressing room, where the young actors are working on their lines for the upcoming scene in which Yonju and Yeom wongook are lovers. Yeom is drunk, and Yonju is trying to get him to sleep. The young actors try to get Yonju to fall asleep, but Yonju refuses to let them do it, saying it would be better if he did it himself.
