"Love awakening from instinct" is the title of this chapter, and it's the first time we're introduced to the protagonist, Orsino. He's still waiting for his crush, Asami, to come out of her shell. Orsino tells Orsino that he doesn't know her at all, and he's not in love with her, either. He goes on to say that she's always trying to find the "correct path" , and that he'd never give her a second kiss like that. He says that he loves her so much that he can't bear to see her "flustered" . He wants to know how this happened, and Orsino says he'll find out the next day.
