Back at the shop, Ren tells his brother that his leg is broken and that he should stay safe. He tells Ren to follow him back to the phantom exorcism agency. Ren asks if the souls are being released, and Ren says that it isn't so simple after all. Ren tells Ren not to go home with his injury, because he'll frighten his family. Ren thinks his leg feels like a hotel room, and he wonders why it suddenly appeared and then disappeared without a trace.
