The narrator tells us that he's been waiting for Tenma to come over. He apologizes for the incident, but says that he couldn't stand the guilt, so he came on his own to apologize. He says that since he'd already forgiven Tenma, he wanted to tease him a little bit. So he made Tenma promise to "apologize to jin" as well, and to "resist anything" he didn't like. Tenma thanks the narrator for saving his life, and they go shopping for the ninth time. The narrator asks if they're on good terms, and Tenma says, "Wait a sec. What's that? We don't know. It took me a long time to say that, and it took me courage to say it," he says. He tells Tenma that they've become tea buddies, and he asks her to stop.
