When he confronts his father, the young man is afraid of what will happen to him if he does not apologize. He does not love Yujin, and so he just lives recklessly. He tells himself that he has only one reason to keep him alive, and that is to protect him from the violence of his father. He says that he will make sure that Yujin does not do anything foolish, and he removes the latch on the door to his room so that he can come in and see his son. The young man says that raising a child was scary, because he has no paternal love, but that he was different from his father in that he did not have to worry about it. He adds that his father was just keeping the house empty because he had no money to do so. He thinks that he looks normal, but he is surprised that he is having to raise a child. After graduating from college, he joins the company of the father and is recognized for his abilities and promoted quickly.
