About This Chapter
From the time he grew up, the narrator hates that his family is poor. He tells his teacher about the school lunch, cough, and make sure he gets whatever she gives him. He's not sure if he should blame his irresponsible father or his mother for the poor upbringing. He tries to pretend that he's sick and tired and doesn't care about his family. He says that his school days are pretty good, but he has an inferiority complex. It's like a "ticking time bomb" that's ready to destroy him. The narrator is so indifferent to himself that he didn't know that he liked men until someone shook him to his core. He is a student teacher who will be staying with the class for a month and the two of them are left alone in the classroom. The teacher touches the narrator whenever he walks by the row she is in and he smells his coffee scent so he can't hide his excitement. In front of the red car, she looks amazing. The class president of the class six says she's fiancee of the trainee teacher. Can you believe she is a dentist? The narrator feels humiliated and inferior when she sees the shadow fall on the face who called her name. He explains that the teacher is handsome and that the class is over until the teacher finishes the class. He asks her to read her book and she agrees. It took two weeks for the teacher and the girl to meet and get to know each other. The girl is pregnant. The secretary of the teacher's father leads the narrator to the reception
