About This Chapter
In this short scene, the young man is introduced as "sniffoppa" , which means "young" or "youngish." He is described as being between the ages of 18 and 35, and he has a good physique. The young man complains that he is tired of the same clothes he has always worn. He also tells us that he has heard of "Yolo," a man who is also a young man, and has come out to him, saying that "he likes men" . He says that "nothing has changed" in his life because of the fact that "Minwook" is gay, but he is happy to work anywhere, as long as the people pay him well. He orders three portions of meat and two bowls of rice, and thanks the waiter for the dinner. He is finally meeting the man he has been waiting for. He asks the waiter to wait a little while, and the waiter tells him that he came to work two days ago, and that he looks like a "junghyuk" because he has spent so much time with the man. The waiter asks if the man is trying to "be like" the man, but the waiter says that the man has been doing all the "bad things" and that it is safer to work for a company like his than for one like his own. He tells the waiter that he should buy him more drinks, since he has to work.
