In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Noel, who has just returned from a trip to Japan. She is introduced as "the type that does not put on weight" , and she is described as being biracial. Noel explains that she has decided to turn her appearance into a "weapon" in order to protect herself from people who would like to dislike her.
