Doobie survives third grade, but now his family is going to face another change once again: transferring schools. Pegy notices that Doobie doesn't like changes, and worries that he's going to go to a school with stricter rules. Doobie is responsible for following his own schedule, and often does things ahead of time. He even spends his time acting as his older brother to the pre-school kids. He's a super-smart kid, and he can do whatever he wants with no supervision. He shrinks to his size and scampers away when his mom tries to help him.
