The scene opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, when Hirokazu was in love with Kishio. He was jealous of Kishio's jealousy of him, and he made Kishio jealous by making him jealous of his feelings for her. The flashback shows that Kishio is now in a better position to be jealous because he is in a relationship with a woman, and so he is less afraid of touching her. In the flashback, we learn that the relationship between Kishio and Yuito has ended, and that Yuito is now sleeping with someone else. The scene then shifts to the morning after the shooting, when Kishio wakes up to find that his chest has started to hurt. He asks for help, and the doctor tells him that he can walk on his own. The doctor tells Kishio that he should take it easy, and she thanks him for his concern. She tells him to let her know if she needs anything, and then she leaves.
