In this short scene, we learn that the two students have grown apart in the classroom, and that byeol has begun to worry about her feelings for Byeol. She is afraid that she will be hurt by him again, and so she decides to protect him. She tells him that she is the only one who loves him, and she is sorry that she took so long to realize that she was wrong. She says that she loves him because he is her only friend in the class, and he will be her only one from now on.
