About This Chapter
Nargal asks Jaemon what he thinks of the question he asked him the night before. Jaemon replies that the sword is "nothing without the mind" and that the mind is "powerless without the sword" . Sozer has been waiting for Jaemon for thirteen years. He asks what Jaemon thinks of his question and Jaemon responds that he thinks about the question yesterday evening. Nargal tells him that trouble is always behind him and that sozer is always waiting for him. He tells Jaemon that he needs to make sure his instructions were "used the dead language" , which means that he used the words of the past. He also says that obedience is blind and that Jaemon has done good work. He says that he would pay good money if he knew what sozer was plotting. He adds that he commands and commands and that he obeys Jaemon's command. He warns Jaemon not to hold his sword so tightly, but to clean his blade with a cloth. They're done, they say, and sozer has made enormous progress. He's trying to make Jaemon his "agent of destruction." Jaemon says he's not himself anymore. He wants to meet the king and tell him how to take revenge. He reminds Jaemon of his father and reminds him that he is the legitimate heir to the throne. He promises to beat the enemy with his body and his sword. He hopes that his friend pulls through and that they will meet again
