The leader of the Izuna pack, a group of traditional Japanese practitioners of magic, tells the story of a little boy and his wolf cub who lost their way in the forest. One of the boy's eyes was broken, and the wolf's soul and his blades formed a whole. The wolf, however, was able to recognize the man who had helped him escape the prison. The leader asks the child where he is and the child tells him that he is in the temple.
