"The sandman dominion" is a reference to the biblical story of Noah's ark, which was destroyed by the flood. Noah explains that there were two places in the universe, heaven and hell, and that he was born there to serve. He says that he will do what he can to win the war, or he will die fighting in the war. He tells his wife that he has an expert on the Bible who can translate it for him. He explains that the angel who spoke to Noah in the Book of Job spoke of a war that would not be fought in heaven, but on earth, the "sin war" . Noah asks his wife if he should get the rabbi to translate the Bible for him, and she agrees. They run the ark through the lab and find that the inlay is beveled, the other side is blank, and the baby's carbon dating unit is accurate. They wonder how the press knows about them, and they wonder if the lead detective is an "obstacle to justice"
