About This Chapter
The next morning, the men are still waiting for the ship to return. They're not sure where they're supposed to be going, but they've got a feeling that something's up. They smell people in the ship's cargo bay, and koff is worried about the sick man. He's not sure if he's done anything wrong, and he doesn't know if the man is dead or alive. koff asks if there are any other people who escaped the safe-guards, and if they have any names. He also asks if he has been alone with the man in the bay all this time, and whether or not there's a place where people are. He says there is, but he can't get there because it's too dangerous outside. He borrows his gun and tells koff to bang some new ones on the walls. Ooh, sounds like a good idea, right? The guys are psyched to hear that they'll be able to help.
