In this chapter, we learn that Natsuko has not been around lately, and that she has been hanging out with jin-san. . He tells her that he has to give her a picture of himself, and she says that she will give him one of those, but that she doesn't want to give it to him today. She tells him that he is a liar and that he should just leave her alone. He says that he just wanted her to leave him alone so that he wouldn't have to do anything to her. She says that they are done with each other, and they are ready to die together. She asks him what he wants, and he replies that he wants to die with her. He asks her to put the picture down, but she says she can't do that, because she is heavy. He thanks him for waiting for him, and says he knows that ryu is heartless because he would have been nothing if it wasn't for Natsako. He adds that he knew ryu was going to be on the train, so he knew that he would be on it, too, but he says he is not dead yet.
