About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Yagi's health has taken a turn for the worse, and he's been forced to take a leave of absence from work. Yagi tells us that he used to think that he'd never be fired from his job, even if the owner of the shop had a goat in the shop. But now, he says, the owner seems to be relying on him, and Yagi doesn't want him to be fired. He tells Yagi that they're going to a big book shop on their way to the train station, and that there's going to be a wolf cub at the shop that they used to play with when he was a kid. The cub has big ears, and if it's really the wolf cub, they could have a reunion. But Yagi is worried that the owner won't tell him what's happening, and so he asks Yagi if he can approach the owner. He's worried that he might be fired, but Yagi assures him that it'll be fine, because the owner is so pure that he just wants to sell books. He also says that he admires the owner's determination, because back then, things weren't so good. But years later, when they got back together, Yagi admired his determination. He says, "I admire his determination, though, because I'm sure the owner would be fine in the carnivore-zone , though." Yagi asks if she can see happy, and she says she can. She's so happy that she's found a job that will let her work with the owner, who is so kind and sweet.
