Spoilers for those who haven’t read to the last episode. Review: This story was an easy read but wasn’t that original. Though many stories have similar tropes, three factors typically make a story memorable. 1. Pacing, 2. Sub points/obstacles 3. Character depth/chemistry In this story, the artwork panels were spaced awkwardly with the dialogue so it felt like the pacing from moment to moment wasn’t connected. There weren’t many or unique plot points and we never really got to understand even the two main characters. Also, a major point regarding him choosing her (most likely he saved her) was completely forgotten to be mentioned. I am not sure what happened. I can only assume the creator either had another project that took more time or they decided to wrap up this story as quickly as possible. Overall, I would give a 4/10. It isn’t a bad story but isn’t a re-reader either. I would compare it to a harlequin novel. They are short, sweet, but nothing unique; they just give you a feel good warmth when done.
