After the exam, the office is abuzz with activity. The students discuss how they have been able to pass the exam without cheating. The narrator, however, is not so sure. He asks the students why they need to cheat in order to pass, and they all agree that it is necessary to do so. He tells the students to write a letter to their parents explaining their actions.
