In this short scene, Kim lum tries to cheer up his friend , who is in a bit of a panic. Kim tells him to keep his chin up, because he's so sorry, but he hasn't yet said anything to her. He also tells her to put on her wedding ring when he comes back, so she can wait two weeks before he leaves. Kim says she's fine, but she misses her glance and has to explain what's going on to her mom. She's glad to hear that her dad is spending more time with his mom lately, since she seems to be getting better. She also tells him that he sent her one of his own wedding rings, too, and he says he'll tell him everything he did to her, too. Kim asks if she can just hide and stay with him, and she says it's a favor, but that they have to do something before jinwoo leaves
