In this chapter, we learn that Kim's twin brother, Seoung, is a homosexual. Kim is furious with his brother because he has no interest in his sister. He tells him that he is the one who is sorry for his brother's behavior. He says that if his parents divorce, it is all his fault. He also tells his brother that he does not want to live with someone like him, who does not have any acceptance. He asks that he stop calling him that and stop acting like he knows him at school. He adds that if he were to divorce his parents, it would be all their fault. Kim says that he doesn't know why he is even talking to his brother, who is effing shameful. He explains that he likes him, but that he wants to know why his brother didn't show up for class this morning. He then asks why he has not shown up to class with his feelings for Seoung. He claims that his brother is afraid that he might have reason to explain his behavior. Kim tells him to stop going around and getting to the point, and says that whenever he has something delicious to eat, he thinks of his brother and clenches his tongue to say he likes her. He points out that his name is written down in his notebook, so he can just pick it up and say "I like her" .
