In the middle of the night, Kim wanders into the street, looking for his mother. He finds her in a cafe, and he asks her if she would like him to marry her. She says that she would, but she doesn't want to marry Kim because she wants to go back to her native country of Korea. He tells her that he's moving back to Korea, but that he still wants to come back and live with her. He asks her to kiss him, and they kiss. Kim asks if she'll accept his proposal, and she says she's not sure what she should do. She wants to give him a "flettle," but she can't because she feels like a "selfish gesture" . She asks Kim to kiss her, but he says he'll have to wait until the end.
