Okay, now we're back at the Nogi estate. It's been a while since we've seen it, but it's time for us to get back to the present. It turns out that the wedding has been postponed, and it looks like it might be canceled. Atsuko, who's just come back from a trip to inspect the venue, asks what's going on. She tells us that she's glad to hear that the marriage won't be canceled, because it means that no one will be left out of the future. She's also worried about what will happen to ryo once he's back, since he doesn't live at the estate all that often. She also says that it seems like it'll be hard for him to be the heir to the family business since he'll have to hide his true identity, which means that he'd have to take over the business from his father, who raised him as a member of a branch of the family . At this point, we learn that it was not a will, and that s/he was raised as a "son" of a "branch family" . This means that, as far as we know, no one has ever said goodbye to him, even though he was raised by a "brother" of his father's. At the end of the chapter, we find out that it is almost time for the wedding to take place, and at the very least, it seems that it will take place.
