About This Chapter
The next morning, the Governess is worried about her son's health. She asks him to sleep with her, but he refuses, saying that he would lose interest in her "anytime." The Governess tells him that he is being mean to him, and that she will no longer take care of him. He tells her that he had planned to take her to the hospital the night before, but she refused to go because she was worried about him. When she asks him if he is sure he is okay, he says that he was worried that the mosquito might help him, but that he cannot control it. He asks if she is sure she is okay now, and she says that she was really worried that it might help the previous night. She tells him to touch her because she didn't know if he was a child or an adult, and he responds that she is an adult too. He says that his shoulders are tense and that he misses every single shot. He then asks if he can be free for the weekend, because it is her birthday
