About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph comes from a line in Shakespeare's "Henry IV Part I." It's a line from Henry IV, Part I, in which the hero asks, "What shall I do? What shall I say?" . The epigraph is from the play's play "Henry V," in which a young man named Henry V swallows a large quantity of water. The young man, Henry V, asks the doctor to draw blood from him. The doctor does so, and the young man says, "I'm going to go see Mr. Lorry." The doctor says that he's going to stay and check on his friend, who's still refusing to accept Henry's offer of blood. Henry V says that's fine, he'll go check on him. He's not sure what's happening with Lorry, but he promises to do his best to make sure that he doesn't change his mind.
