As the battle rages on, Dr. Rivers tries to save one of the wounded soldiers, but he's surrounded by enemy fire. He tries to get the soldiers to stop firing at him, but they're too scared to do so. He tells Rivers to stop treating one of his comrades, and then he hits the back of the woman's head. She's bleeding from the head wound, and Dr Rivers has no choice but to save her.
