In this chapter, we learn that Teta Elzbieta's second revolution is not a whimsical frolic. It's a serious matter, and the two girls must "conquer" it together. First, they have to "conquer the hatred inside themselves" . Then, they must conquer their hatred for each other. They have to find a way to love each other, even if they don't always agree with each other's views. They can't just "fly away" now, though, because they'll have to come back later.
