In this chapter, nangong tries to convince the audience that the roasting of the rabbit is not a good idea. He tells them that the meat smells good, but that it cannot be eaten because it contains poisonous ingredients. Worried that he is being eaten by a snake, he tries to eat the meat, but the snake does not appear to be friendly with him. He is afraid that the snake will kill him, and so he prepares to fight the snake
