The chapter opens with a description of the three-hour bus ride to the mountain. The scenery is good, but the journey would be better if it were not for "eternal qiuyun" . The narrator asks his brother if he is really there for an outing. He says that he has had a great nap and that he wants to go find the secret realm. He tells his brother that there is no one on the remote road and that there are gloomy areas like this on the mountain . He tries to get his brother to follow him, but he cannot see the barrier between the mountain and the outside world. He sticks a compass onto his back to guide him through the gloomy area. When he sees the river, he exclaims that it is the same river that leads to the game dungeon. He brings a butterfly net to show his brother how beautiful the river is. He asks if they should be on top of the map because the river leads to a rabbit nest. He notices that the rabbit nest is surrounded by old and loving grandmas. He is sad to see that his husband is dead.
