In this chapter, we learn that it is impossible for the two of them to be together. They are both "alphas" with military ranks, meaning that they have to serve at least 10 years in the army before they can choose their "omegas" . The two argue about whether or not they should wait for each other, and finally, the two decide that they should tell each other what caused their poor performance in the academy.
