In this chapter, we learn that a person with a cold can have surgery to remove the symptoms of the disease. We also learn that the doctor is taking a day off for the holiday. The doctor tells us that the fight between the two of them was just a childish thing to do. He says that he's sure the doctor would have given birth to smart, healthy children if he'd had an omega-rich child. He adds that he doesn't think a child with an omega in it would be as bad as a child without it. He also says that if the doctor had given him an omega, he wouldn't have needed to go to the doctor's office to get the medicine. He tells the doctor that he came to be "fucked" by the doctor, and that he still wants to tell him the truth, but that he can't. He's sorry, he says, but he'll have to apologize to his parents if he comes to see them. He swears on his ring that he wants to "get rid of all of your sadness, and worry, and guilt" . He then says that the best place for him to do this is in a locked room.
