The narrator arrives at his mother's house and tells her that he's going to meet her at the park. He says that his mother is a southern republican and that something like this would ruin her career. The narrator says that he doesn't know who this woman is, but he does know that she's got a lot of enemies. He's waiting for someone to come pick him up and take him to the park so that he can pay her back for the money she took from him. He also says that the woman is a "perty lady" and that she takes his alcohol and makes his spirits shine. He then says that she is "terrible" and "just like Willie Nelson or Stevie Ray Vaughn" . He thanks her and says he'd like to be a star like her. He goes on to say that he just wanted to get some change and then he realizes that his watch has broken and that someone is talking to him in his room. He realizes that this is not his room either, but that he is still in a nude state.
