Volks is back shoveling the snow, and Volker is worried that he's going to get into mischief. Volker says he'll keep watch over the Volks until they're done shoveling, but he can't figure out why Volker seems to be waving at him. He's not sure what Volker's trying to do, but it's clear that Volker wants to use his powers to spy on Alek. He says he can use his transfiguration powers to look through the snow and see what Alek is up to. He also says that if he used his powers now, he wouldn't be able to see what he wants to see, because he'd have to use up all of his powers before he could use them again.
