In this chapter, the audience learns that the protagonist, Ming-xi, will be accompanying his boss on a special appearance on a show. He will also be accompanying the protagonist on the show as his assistant. The audience is curious to know what the protagonist is up to, since he has not yet appeared in any of the major melodramas.
