This chapter opens with a conversation between the boss and his assistant . The boss tells his assistant that he's been eating instant noodles, but that they're still in the refrigerator. The assistant tells him that it's the director who gave him the information, and that the director is trying to ruin the boss's reputation by revealing that he was in on the affair. He also tells the assistant that they should publish the recording to prove that the boss didn't take advantage of the director, but the assistant says that the entertainment industry isn't as simple as he thought it would be. He asks the assistant what he should do, and the assistant answers that he should pack his stuff and go to work for the boss. He tells the boss to remember not to tell anyone that he is working as a bufan assistant, and then he takes a look at his new workstation. There are extra locks on the place, and there's a cute little bird named chirpiness in the room. He's going to be responsible for the lives of both of them in a few days.
