In this chapter, the detective is asked to find the lucky arrow that was stolen from the owner of the auction house. The detective is shocked to learn that the thief is the "phantom thief" and that the woman who lost the arrow is a fan of this phantom. He decides that he will only accept cases that are "real" and will not accept "pseudo-case" cases. The phantom thief has again sent a notice, and the detective realizes that many people are trying to capture the phantom thief in order to commemorate his appearance. He asks the woman if she would like to participate in the capture, but she refuses, saying that she has fallen in love with the phantom and that she will wait for him on the roof
