In this short scene, Harish narrates the details of the crime that he has just witnessed. He explains that the victim was split into two and that he was killed in a single "slash" . Harish also narrates that the crime scene was located at the corner of the street and that there were only two tracks left, one on each side of the victim. He concludes that this is the first victim of the "Rakshasa" and that it has been going on for a very long time.
