The scene opens with a knock at the door. It's Xiyan, who has come to visit her brother. She's not happy to see him, because she hates him. She asks why he's living with him, and he tells her that it's because he stole all the property in the project for the siblings. She doesn't understand why he would want to steal all of his property, especially since he has so many other things to occupy his time. He also says that he just concentrates on his work, unlike someone who likes to "mes around" with his property. He then goes on to say that he came to find his youngest brother, who is sleeping on the floor in his bed. He says that his cat is better than his, and that he can't compare to the cat. He leaves, and when he gets back, he finds that the cat didn't say goodbye to him.
