About This Chapter
After the battle, Quang Tran settled down in the village, but he was not welcomed there. One day, the head of the village came to see him. He asked if he could give him some time to talk to him. Quang agreed to give them some time. The villagers were in a state of disarray, but Quang said that he would give them a reason to be together. He said that war always causes a gap between ships, and he hoped that they would be able to stand under the leadership of Quang. He also told them that they should not tell him they came all the way to the village just to say that they got what they wanted, but that was not it. They agreed that they needed a reason, and that good no-hing else was better than this. They also agreed that ward was strong and could cope with anything without much difficulty. He was a coward who found fearfulness in everything. They read a story about a giant python that turned into a woman and urged its creator to kill the family that had killed its child. Eventually, the python turned to the human form and fled away. The king sent his sorcerers into the forest to seal the python.
