Gaston tells the two men that he has heard that the king is very fond of the royal dancer, and that he is summoned every night to dance with the king. Gaston says that sometimes when he is doing his job, he will get information and relay it to the central command. He says that one of the main ones he heard is about an attack against the liberation army and that the other members have to leave because the attack is of a different nature. He also says that the cannon will not be used against the army because the king was drunk the night before.
