In this chapter, Tommo explains that his older brother, Teruo Amano, has been shut up for the last four pages. He's trying to figure out how to draw his next story. He has tons of ideas, but he's not sure how to put them into a story. First, he says, he'll have a story about a boy who grows ears and tails because of a magic potion. Then, he wants to have a "first-time story" about a kid who's injured and has to go back to his parents' house to get help. He doesn't know exactly what's going to happen in the story, but it's a good idea to play along.
