After getting dumped by Ash, Mieri is so happy that he wishes he could live without her. She was the first person to accept him, and she was the one who gave him all of his firsts. Mieri says that he and Ash are both living healthily and that they will get back together someday. He wants to go to school early so that he can get a better job looking for a job. He also wants to get her back because she gave him so much hope when they broke up. He tells Mieri that there is a career fair in Japan that will give him the opportunity to intern in a company in Japan for free for the summer. If he goes to the fair, he can be with Ash again.
