About This Chapter
In this short scene, we catch up with the young woman, who is now known as the "xiaoqiao" fan. She's still drunk, but she's happy to be with the president. She tells us that her grandma has been nice to her, and that she hopes that the president can clean up the mess that's been made. She also tells the audience that she has a birthday party coming up and that some people have given her clothes. She asks the president not to go to the party, but instead to go and buy the girl a pair of shoes and a cake to celebrate her birthday. The young woman tells the president that she'd like to keep the whole thing a secret, but the president is so nice that she doesn't think it's necessary to tell him about it. He's so nice, she says, that she wouldn't want to expose him, even if he were known to be a noble man. The president will be so nice to the girl that she won't have to tell the whole story. The girl is so upset that she can't go to sleep. She wakes up to find that her father has gone to the hospital, and she'll have him kicked out as well.
