In this chapter, we learn that the spirit of Agamemnon is still in control of the battlefield. He is still able to control the spirits of the men around him, but he is not as strong as he once was. He still has the power to kill the men, and he is able to do so because he has a compass that he can use to track the location of his mother. He offers to take the compass to the outer wall of the castle and meet him there the next day
